Leslie Alfonzo is an Associate Attorney at KPB Immigration Law Firm. Leslie is a first generation Salvadoran American, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California. She graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and double minor in Criminal Justice and Dance. Leslie received her Juris Doctor degree from San Francisco Law School.
During law school, she worked at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office in the Pre-Investigation Unit. Leslie also worked as a paralegal for the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) for the United States District Court, Northern District of California, providing adequate representation for indigent defendants.
Prior to joining KPB, Leslie worked with Hickey & Chung, LLP, a criminal defense firm in San Francisco, CA, as a paralegal for six years. During her time with HC LLP, she focused primarily on federal criminal defense cases in the U.S. District Courts ranging from complex white-collar cases to multi-defendant drug trafficking conspiracies where she was involved from start to end.
Leslie is admitted to practice law in the state of California. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
